Joseph Burchfield, Former Council President
Pleaded guilty to nine counts, including extortion, bribery, and conspiracy charges in February 2011. Sentenced to serve 64 months in prison. He was also ordered pay back $46,000, as well as a $10,000 fine. Currently incarcerated in the Federal Correctional Institution in Cumberland, Maryland.
